Memorial Day is a day that commemorates all men and women who have died while serving in the military for the United States This year, as we gather together for possibly the 1st time in over a year, take time to remember family and friends who served and tell their stories. Remembering loved ones holds their position in the foundation of our lives and connects us to the past.
This national holiday traditionally marks the beginning of Summer and is usually celebrated with picnics and family BBQs. We at Howie’s Market and Alexander’s Meats are here to lend a hand. This weekend we will be featuring our Piedmontese ground beef. Piedmontese beef is a leaner alternative with all the flavor and tenderness of our prime.
To enhance your gathering on Memorial Day, Alexander’s own Cowboy Burgers with jalapeño, bacon and cheddar, and our Steakhouse Burgers with sauteed mushroom, onion, Swiss cheese and bacon will be on sale along with Snake River American Wagyu ground beef. You’ll find reduced prices in our produce department and bakery this weekend, from hamburger fixings and corn-on-the cob to Howie’s own hamburger buns.
